Over 300 employees of the Ministry of the Interior joined the process of evacuating people from Oleshki, - Minister of the Interior Ivan Vygovski, our units were nearby at every stage. The border guards provided the registration and were among the first to say: "Welcome to Ukraine! "The rescue forces set up tents where people could warm up and rest. The police escorted convoys of buses and ambulances and helped people with reduced mobility in the hospitals. Two trucks of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were transporting things and animals. At these moments, employees of the State Migration Service are issuing passports of citizens of Ukraine to the evacuated residents. Many people lost all their documents during the occupation. There are also children who will receive their passport for the first time. Dozens of inquiries have already been received, we make everything as convenient and free as possible. Our units started helping the residents of Olshki even when people were under occupation. Guards and border guards, along with other units, used UAVs to deliver food to the left bank of the Harson area - canned goods, cereals and baby kits. Today, residents who were evacuated say that this aid allowed them to survive. I thank every employee of the Ministry of the Interior who is these days together with representatives of the Office of the Public Complaints Ombudsman of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, authorities and charitable organizations with the Ukrainians who were evacuated from Oleshki.
