How to protect 5G without the risk of being without communication? Ukraine opens talks with the European Union on clusters 2 and 3. The next step is to align cyber security rules in the telecom network with European requirements. However, there is no single solution in the EU, each country has its own approach: Germany sets deadlines for replacing critical components. France controls the use of specific equipment; Italy reviews contracts related to strategic networks. For Ukraine, the issue is complicated by the fact that when choosing a model, several factors will have to be taken into account at once - the current state of the infrastructure, the cost of modernization and the risk of communication interruptions during equipment replacement. Therefore, our model should be based on European requirements, but not repeat the whole program of others. The main thing is to ensure safe and stable communication even in critical conditions.
