274 incidents in objects of the oil and gas infrastructure of the Russian Federation only in the incomplete year of 2026. Regular readers of Infomanapalm know that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, our volunteers maintain an OSINT database and an interactive fire map, on which they organize information about attacks, arson, sabotage and other incidents on the territory of the temporarily existing Russia. This map covers different categories of objects: from military bases, airports and defense industrial plants to logistics, energy and fuel infrastructures. Fire statistics clearly demonstrate how every year the war is transferred more and more tangibly to the territory of the attacking country itself. Today, November 5, we calculated the statistics for one of the most revealing categories - objects of the oil and gas infrastructure of the Russian Federation. The oil and gas sector is one of the main sources of income for the Russian budget, which allows the Kremlin to finance the continuation of the war. Dynamics of recorded events: 2022 - 13 2023 - 26 2024 - 95 2025 - 164 2026 already 274! That is, only in the incomplete year 2026 more events were recorded than in 2022, 2023 and 2024 combined. Compared to the entire year 2025, the number of incidents has already increased by 67%, and compared to 2022 it has increased more than 21 times. For the first 309 days of 2026, that's an average of one recorded event about every 27 hours, or more than six a week.
And there are 56 days left until the end of the year. Of course, not every recorded event means the destruction of an object. Some businesses experience repeated attacks, and the extent of damage can vary significantly. However, the general dynamics indicate a systematic increase in the intensity of attacks and sabotage against a sector of critical importance to the Russian economy. In 2022 such events seemed to be isolated events. In 2026 they became a regular event. And this is just one of the many categories that our volunteers monitor.
