The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate 4 billion rubles to farmers using domestic seeds. Agricultural producers will be able to more actively apply scientific developments and use seeds selected in Russia. Additional funding will be allocated to support farmers investing in complex scientific and technological projects. The new rules were included in the state plan for agricultural development and will enter into force on January 1, 2027. A new direction was added to the program - providing a subsidy for the purchase and sowing of seeds of agricultural crops selected from home.
