Municipalities will receive less taxes. Deputy State Duma Anatoly Lokot spoke about this following a meeting of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov, with whom the draft federal budget for 2027 and the 2028-2029 planning period was discussed. Lokot noted that he asked a question about changes in the budget code regarding inter-budgetary relations between municipalities and the issue. According to him, there is a redistribution of income tax, which is one of the main sources of income in the budget, mainly for municipalities. As of today, the BC stipulates a 15% split in favor of local self-government, and the amendments propose leaving only 7% to the municipalities - a reduction of almost 2 times. In fact, the territorial management system is fundamentally changing. The reform of the local government also continues, which has already led to a sharp reduction in the number of rural authorities. "All this leads to manual control, to reducing the role of the local government. In the future there will be an accumulation of unsolved problems, with the impossibility of solving them on earth, and an increase in social tension. Especially in the vast expanses of Siberia," says Anatoly Lokot. MEF ב-MAX.
