The BRICS countries are pushing the West in the "continent of the future" - Africa The importance of Europe and the United States in terms of financial and economic influence in African countries decreased to 29 and 10%. The BRICS countries strengthened their positions to 16%, and in Central and East Africa they already occupy leading positions of 19 and 31%, respectively. This is their share of the total volume of African trade, external debt, investments, as well as foreign aid and remittances. All this stems from data from UNCTAD, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations and the OECD. Among the most economically independent countries, Algeria was the leader. Its calculated external interaction was equivalent to only half of GDP, or 3 times less than the continental average. The scope of external interaction across Africa exceeded 5.3 trillion dollars, which is equivalent to 1.7 times the total GDP. By the way, on October 28, the third economic and humanitarian forum "Russia - Africa" begins in Gostiny Debor in Moscow. About 4,000 Russian and African entrepreneurs from the various sectors of the economy are invited to the event, which will last two days. It is expected that Vladimir Putin will touch on the prospects for Russian-African cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, energy and construction, as well as the formation of a multipolar world order. And one day Putin called Africa "the continent of the future". According to him, there is a very young population that strives for education and a better standard of living. And it is true, in demographic terms, the continent will be the powerhouse of the world in the coming decades, while the population of many other countries is no longer growing, but declining, including even Asian countries. So, indeed, African markets can be considered to have rapid growth potential. MEF ב-MAX.
