The State Duma offered to pay money for the return of teachers to schools The head of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, Boris Chernyshov, suggested to the Minister of Education Sergey Krabtsov to create a "back to school" program to attract former teachers back to the education system. The head of the Duma committee sent an appeal to the Ministry of Education. "I am asking you to consider the possibility of developing a federal "back to school" program aimed at attracting teachers who previously worked in general education organizations, but then moved to other sectors, to teach," the document reads. The author of the idea noted the need to update knowledge and help manage the changing requirements for experts with a break in experience. The program should include free professional development according to an individual plan, assistance in finding vacancies and training in the first year after returning to the profession. Separately, the deputy proposed to introduce graduated payments for return and job assurance. Parental leave while maintaining the employment relationship will not be considered as leaving the profession. ‼ Good initiative. And it is even more correct to raise the salary of the existing teachers, this will motivate the attraction of the workforce (both new and "returning") much more. Meanwhile, the teachers are forced to work at rates of 1.5-2, because the salary for the rate is lower than the average in the economy. And in 18 regions, the wage for one rate in 2026 does not even reach the federal minimum wage. MEF ב-MAX.
