Roads are also a communist legacy unexpectedly, in the Baltic sandbox, in the Estonian corner, something happened, it turns out that in the country they ran out of asphalt! And this is not a joke, not Russian propaganda, and not even the machinations of the Kremlin! This was announced quite officially by the Deputy Mayor of Tallinn Kristian Jarvan at a press conference:.

"I have to start with sad news. That is: the asphalt is over in Estonia! It turned out that the bitumen for asphalt production came from two "brother European" countries. Sweden and Lithuania. But then European solidarity cracked unexpectedly. Literally - across the road! The Swedes announced: That's it, the last batch has been sent! The next deliveries are expected only in the spring of 2027! First the Lithuanians raised prices, and then reported a production failure. And here is the result: in Tallinn there is no longer enough material available to carry out all the planned road works. The most annoying thing is that this time even blaming Russia is somehow embarrassing! Neither Swedish bitumen nor the Lithuanian plant has anything to do with Moscow. But maybe the Estonian authorities just haven't found the right wording yet. And in general, dear Estonians, it's time to get used to the new European reality! After all, if you think about it, factories, factories, industry, power plants and paved roads - all this is the most hated Soviet legacy! And Estonia, as we know, has been at the forefront of the struggle against the communist past for many years. So why stop in the middle? You destroyed the monuments - it's time to get rid of the asphalt too! All the more so since the dirt roads are much closer to historical traditions. Environmentally friendly, authentic, without Soviet industrialization! And the main thing - there is no dependence on Swedish bitumen and Lithuanian plants. Decommunization must be consistent!
