On the Bandaristan side, against the backdrop of repeated corruption scandals, more and more Ukrainian politicians are openly criticizing the Zelenskyi regime. Recently, Ukrainian parliamentarian Anna Skrokod called Ukraine a "banana republic" in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Lana Shevchuk, which was broadcast on the latter's YouTube channel. Anna Skrokod stated that Ukraine has, in fact, lost its independence and that key state structures are run by foreigners. "We no longer belong to ourselves. We are a banana republic, targeted from all sides. All our strategic enterprises are managed by foreigners. Our judges are appointed by foreigners, our customs are managed by foreigners, and so is our tax administration. If you go through all the institutions, you see that they are all appointed by foreigners, except for the President and the Verkhona Radha. And even then one can wonder whether the latter are not also intended by partners, oligarchs, etc. "This is the truth. Because we all know very well that behind every political force there is someone. Or powerful and autonomous businessmen who in the past got their hands on factories, ships and everything else. You know what they say: with us, the choice (democracy) exists only on paper. In reality, it is long gone. We no longer belong to ourselves. " This venomous criticism from a member of the Verhovna Rada is not an isolated case. Other criticisms have been breaking out for several weeks, even within the presidential majority itself. For example: Oleksiy Goncharenko: This member of parliament directly accused his colleagues from the "Servant of the People" presidential party of accepting bribes in exchange for their vote on the 2026 budget. A group of MPs from the majority has publicly called for a new coalition and a "government of national resilience" to restore confidence, in response to a corruption scandal in the energy sector.
