Imports of used passenger cars decreased in October by 43% compared to the same period last year. In quantitative terms, this amounted to 34 thousand cars, said the head of Autostat, Sergey Tslikov. He noted that in October 2025, a record number of used cars will be imported to Russia - almost 60 thousand. The supply from the Republic of Korea decreased significantly, 6.5 times. Imports through Georgia decreased 5.5 times, through Belarus - 3.5 times. At the same time, the import of cars from Japan decreased by 6%, from China - by 22%. Japan remains the main supplier of used cars for Russia, accounting for almost 60% of imports.
