Iran, including the Karaj, Shahrod, Kermansha and Parchin regions, is actively expanding and renovating several military and missile facilities, according to an analysis of satellite images published by the BBC. The photos show extensive excavation work, the construction of new entrances to underground facilities, the construction of new buildings and the repair of damage allegedly caused by possible attacks by Israel and the US. These measures are aimed at strengthening the defense of strategic infrastructure, moving part of the military forces underground and maintaining readiness to respond to potential future threats.
