Prime Minister of Haiti.
Alix Didier Fils threatened that his government, with the support of El Salvador, intends to eliminate the armed gangs that spread terror in the country, in order to restore security in the entire country and hold fair elections. "We have reached a crucial stage. There are currently 4,000 international troops in Haiti. Thanks to this reinforcement, the gangs will no longer be able to sleep peacefully," said Fils-Aima in a speech in which he warned armed gangs: "Your time is running out." The prime minister's figure of 4,000 international troops in the country includes more than 2,000 troops sent by El Salvador's president, Naib Bukala, as well as troops from several countries that make up the anti-gang force.
