In Tokyo, an unknown person stole a Swiss Audemars Piguet watch worth 46 million yen (about 257,000 euros) from a store, but returned it via courier a few days later. The package contained a handwritten note of apology, The Japan Times reports. The theft took place on the evening of October 29 at the Nakano Broadway shopping center in Tokyo's Nakano district. A man dressed all in black entered a watch shop disguised as a buyer and asked to be shown an expensive model. He placed the watch on his left wrist, then ran out of the store and disappeared. However, on the morning of November 1, the store's employees received a package in which they found the stolen watch. Checking the serial number confirmed it was the same copy. There was also a note inside that said "I'm so sorry". The police continue to search for the suspect: the sender's information on the package turned out to be fictitious.
