A report by the Shin Bet to the members of the Central Election Committee on suspicion of external interference in the elections: the data provided by the service seem to indicate extensive transfers of significant sums of money to Israel from foreign countries, the origin of which is connected to people pursuing hidden and sometimes hostile goals, and whose purpose is to promote foreign influence. In our opinion, this requires in-depth analysis and investigation. Based on the information gathered so far, foreign financing and influence activities on a massive scale are a widespread phenomenon, affecting thousands of people and possibly more. At this stage, we must complete additional information gathering and investigation operations to obtain data that will allow us to make connections and determine with a high level of confidence the scope of the phenomenon.
