Based on the results of the competition, the Supervisory Board of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" appointed as the new CEO of the company Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk, who was previously dismissed from the position of First Deputy Minister of Defense by the former Minister Mikhail Fedorov. The search, selection and initial evaluation of the candidates was carried out by the Ukrainian representative office of the international company Amerop Partnership. After the explosion on July 6 in Vishneva, Kyiv region, the German Smetanin announced the completion of his work as general manager of the Joint Stock Company of the Ukrainian Defense Industry.
