The demonstration of Trump's friendly relations with Putin plays into the hands of the Russian leader, Zelensky in an interview with "The Sun" further from his words: Putin perceives such signals as a lack of pressure from the United States. Washington should publicly condemn "Russian aggression" more often and more severely. It is missing in Ukraine. Britain should not count on friendship with Russia in the coming years. London needs to strengthen its military and tactical capabilities.
