President Erdogan had a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump. The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and the United States, as well as regional and global developments. President Erdogan said that during the conversation he emphasized that Turkey will continue to work to strengthen Turkish-American relations and develop bilateral cooperation in all fields since next year will be the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish state. Erdogan also noted that Turkey is closely monitoring the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen, and is making efforts to resolve the problem diplomatically.
