Putin said he was vaccinated against the flu with a Russian vaccine Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a government meeting that about two weeks ago he was vaccinated against the flu with a homemade vaccine. "I got vaccinated. The Russian vaccine works perfectly," said the head of state. Putin also asked Health Minister Mikhail Murshko to arrange vaccinations for all members of the government. The minister promised to act on this issue. Earlier, the head of the Russian Federation, Anna Popova, reported that flu accounts for about 5% of all the cases of the disease registered in Russia.
