The top three rankings included Moscow (17% of total calls), Krasnodar (7%) and St. Petersburg (6%). Then came Ufa (3%) and Novosibirsk, which took fifth place. Fraudsters often presented themselves as employees of government and social services, pension departments, as well as couriers of postal services and markets. At the same time, the total number of fraudulent calls in the first nine months of the year was lower than in the corresponding period in 2025.
