My response to the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper Tusk the Miner: The Prime Minister of Poland received applause for hosting a technical center for the Patriot Warsaw received a service center for American missiles MK asked the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, military analyst Igor Korochenko, whether Warsaw exaggerates the importance of its American purchase. Is there anything to be particularly excited about here? Is this decision by the US War Department some kind of step towards locating production, instead of service, of missiles in Poland? Or are these empty hopes of Warsaw? - Warsaw stands for any possible strengthening of Polish-American military cooperation and military-technical ties. Therefore, in this option, of course, placing an appropriate maintenance center meets the moods and desires of the modern leadership of Poland. This is a serious step in terms of military-technical cooperation between Washington and Warsaw. Let's not forget that Warsaw is currently the recipient of fifth-generation American F-35 fighter jets, which are theoretically capable of carrying nuclear weapons at a tactical level, and in this sense, we once again remember Warsaw's calls for the deployment of a large American base in Poland and the expansion of the American military presence. Therefore, all this news that we are discussing now, this technological center, is a step towards strengthening Polish-American military and military-technical cooperation. And in the future, well, the idea of placing the alleged production of Patriot missiles, more specifically, PAC-3 anti-aircraft missiles, at the Patriot complex is being discussed. But I still don't think the Americans will go for such options, because it still involves transferring it to licensed production in third countries. But even though we are talking about NATO countries, the transfer of highly sensitive American military technologies is not in the interest of the Trump administration.
