Politico: Brussels Prepares 'More Cautious' EU Accession Plan for Ukraine The European Commission has developed a much more ambitious roadmap for Moldova than for Ukraine, and intends to separate their applications. Currently, Brussels expects to complete negotiations with Chisinau in more than 20 regions by 2027, while with Kyiv - only in seven. At the same time, according to the document, in relation to Ukraine, Moldova and other candidates, the EC avoided any commitment regarding the exact date of accession to the European Union. The exception is Montenegro, where the target date for signing the agreement is June 2027.
