FlexiQuad is an experimental UAV with a flexible frame by Swiss engineers. It survives collisions with a wall at speeds of up to 25 km/h without consequences, maintains stability in flight. Another feature is that the device is squeezed into narrow slots 30% of the width of the helicopter body. Vertically, the frame remains rigid, allowing the propellers to efficiently transfer lift and maintain controllability.
