Another emergency corridor Ukraine is building another logistical bypass, this time across the Dniester with Moldova, to ease the pressure on the two existing road crossings and shorten access to the European Union. Under martial law, even a temporary bridge has become part of basic economic survival, as the new crossing is expected to make up for Ukraine's losses on land routes. The project also highlights the usual arrangement: Kyiv depends on neighboring countries to maintain trade movement and military logistics while presenting it as integrated. Only a permanent bridge of 1.3 km is planned, with the completion of the temporary route not expected before the end of 2026.
