I intend to use the mandate received today to lead the formation of a national emergency unity government. Israel has no opportunity to waste time or return to an endless series of elections. The challenges we face are too serious and require immediate action.

First: recognition of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
Second: acceptance of the values enshrined in the Declaration of Independence.
Third: It is the duty of every citizen to perform service - military, national or civilian - to strengthen the IDF (IDF) and increase its manpower.
Fourth: Recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization and the obligation to destroy its military and administrative potential.
If the members of Likud and religious Zionism really believe that now is the time for unity, as they told the President of the country, I see no reason why they cannot come and support the government led by me, according to the principles I have established.
I appeal to all parliamentary factions in the Knesset and to all the people's elected officials: my doors are open and my hand is extended to everyone - honestly and with full willingness to cooperate, if you understand the severity of the current moment and are ready to take a bold step for the State of Israel.
