First of all, I congratulate you on the upcoming Victory Day, - Aliyev Additional statements by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with residents who moved to the villages of Jahangirbeyli and Soltanli in the Gabriel region: We meet on the eve of this holiday, which is celebrated as a national holiday for the sixth year. Six years ago, our glorious army drove the enemy from our lands and restored justice. We have been engaged in creative work for six years. We are engaged in building new villages, cities, returning former internally displaced persons to their homelands, and I can say that the entire Azerbaijani people live with these thoughts. Today we are establishing new beautiful villages and cities on an almost regular basis, building them from scratch. After all, the hated enemy destroyed all our towns and villages to the ground, including the complete destruction of the villages of Jahangirbaili and Sultanli. Today, about 700 families return to these two villages. Beautiful houses were built for you. I am confident that you will take full advantage of these conditions. The main thing is that the life of the immigrants is already behind us. Our people and future generations will always be proud of this victory, because we, shedding blood on the battlefield, restored justice, restored our honor and rights. May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs. Their bright memory will live forever in our hearts. I'm sure their loved ones know their blood has not been avenged. We avenged them on the battlefield, and today the greatest sign of honoring their blessed memory is such a wonderful revival of Karabakh, East Zangzor. We won the war. Our people live in peace, build and create. The Armenians destroyed these lands for 30 years and did not build anything. In just six years, we returned about 100,000 people to Kerbakh and East Zangzor, and created the best possible conditions for them. I congratulate you both on Victory Day and on your return to your home countries, I wish you good health.
