As previously reported, on September 8, 2026, the Sheki district attorney's office opened a criminal case and is conducting a preliminary investigation into the death of two people as a result of a fall from a height at the Sheki Yalasi family recreation center, located in the village of Bash Kaldak in the Sheki region. During the investigation, in order to find out the totality of the circumstances of the incident, testimonies of many witnesses were received, a forensic medical examination, a comprehensive examination of the labor protection, construction-technical, trachological and physical-chemical tests were ordered, the appropriate conclusions were received and sent. Requests were made to the relevant government bodies and other organizations, and other necessary procedural actions were taken. During the investigation, reasonable suspicions were discovered that Ramiz Husinov, who was engaged in entrepreneurial activity, showed an irresponsible and indifferent attitude in the management of the recreation center and performed his duties improperly, as a result of which he committed negligence that caused the death of two people due to negligence. Based on the evidence obtained during the investigative steps, it also became clear that Ramiz Khosinov orally entrusted the construction of the Zeppelin cable car tower to Ebast Peshayev, who did not have an appropriate license and special education in this field, and the tower was built illegally under his leadership and in accordance with the direct instructions of Khosinov. As a result of the deformation of the iron structure of the tower, a wave passed along the cables, and the main zipline device, which guarantees a descent, broke from the cable.
