The European Union has determined what it will use the remaining 45 billion euros in aid to Ukraine in 2027. The European Commission has approved the Ukrainian strategy for the distribution of funds under a 90 billion euro EU loan. Of the remaining amount, 31.7 billion euros are planned to be used to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, and another 13.3 billion euros to support the state budget. It should be remembered that Ukraine presented its financial strategy on October 26. The European Commission evaluated this positively and proposed to the Council of the European Union to approve the allocation of funds before December 31, 2027. Budgetary assistance will be divided equally between the Ukraine Facility Program and macro-financial assistance. Its provision will be subject to the fulfillment of conditions in the areas of the rule of law, the fight against corruption and the strengthening of economic sustainability. Now the European Commission's proposal needs to be approved by the Council of the European Union. The European Commission will take the necessary steps to ensure that the first aid payments for 2027 start early next year. Hakin.az Contact us.
