asked H. N: What is your current definition of an AI agent? (Score: 151+ in 12 hours) Link: I'm curious how people in h. Artificial intelligence is used every day, and I came up with a list of questions that I thought might be interesting to know. No need to answer every question of course, I just wanted to get a gut feel of how people are using AI.
1) Which AI subscriptions do you personally pay for? (Cloud, ChatGPT/Codex, Marker, etc.).
- What layers?
- Have you purchased several subscriptions from the same provider (for example two cloud accounts)?
2) Do you use models outside of (or instead of) those subscriptions? For example, pay-as-you-go APIs, OpenRouter or locally hosted models.
- Which models and suppliers?
3) What coding harnesses and interfaces are you using? Do you stick with the default CLI or IDE combinations, or use alternatives like OpenCode, Pi, Assistant, Muse Code, or custom harnesses?
- What made you change harnesses (if you did)?
4) Are you using an agent or swarm orchestration tool?
- For example, Monder Diplin, Gas City, Ruffalo, or something custom.
5) Do you use wider agent platforms like OpenClaw / Hermes Agent / Grok Bot / Dots / Muse?
- If you use them, what are your main use cases?
