Truck production has turned positive and sales and production figures for this sector continue to diverge. September new truck sales remain in serious negative territory even after data adjustments. And production, according to Rostat, after taking off in August (+33% in annual terms) jumped even more in September - by 54.8% in annual terms and 39.5% in August - to 17.1 thousand units. As a result, we even managed to reverse the winter decline - in January-September, truck production entered the green zone for the first time: +2.7% (99.6 thousand units). The increase in production continued for tank trucks (trailers and semi-trailers): +33.7% (472 units) - for September; +9.7% (3,363 units) - for January-September. We have talked here in detail about the production of trucks. Rostat figures are almost identical: +2.7% (3.7 thousand units) for September; -24.5% (31.4 thousand units) for the months January-September.
