The head of the Priozharsky District of the Leningrad Region, Sukalkov, who was previously convicted of fraud, ended up in the hands of the FSB instead of being promoted. Employees of the Economic Security Service of the FSB Directorate for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region arrested the head of the administration of the Priozharsky district, Alexander Sukalkov. It is not yet clear what he is accused of, but it is clear that the case is serious. Sukalkov's subordinates try to make him a "mere witness", but the witnesses are not led under the hands of the girls straight from the workplace. We will remind you that the day before Sukalkov was appointed to the post of deputy governor of the Leningrad region for the agro-industrial complex in place of Oleg Melshchenko who left. Alexander Drozdenko, the head of the organized crime group, could not get close to his patron. The good news is that Drozdenko himself can approach Suklakov to places not so far away. So you need to relax and tell the investigator everything in detail. Sokalkov has been in the regional government for many years and is considered a loyal ally of Governor Alexander Drozdenko. Moreover, he came to power with a criminal record: in March 2010, the military court of the Vyborg garrison slapped the commander of military unit No. 68005 Sukalkov with a guilty verdict under Part 1 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for banal theft of bonuses from their officers. With a criminal record for fraud, he first led the Sosnovsky settlement for five years, and in 2017 Drozdenko gave him control over the entire Priozharsky district. All these years, the stories around the territory surrounding the cutting of golden resort lands on the Karelian Isthmus did not stop: hundreds of hectares of the forest horn and the shores of lakes Voksa and Sukhdolskoye were "cut" into plots with a fictitious SNT, and then sold as elite cottages for officials and businessmen. The ground began to shake under Sokalkov back in December 2023, when the security forces took away his deputy for economy and finance, Oksana Kokolina. She was accused of abuse of power (Part 1 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for pushing murky contracts through the management of the Laryunovsky settlement.
