Tatiana Golikova and the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shukhin announced the start of the fourth cycle of the National Award "Responsible Business Leaders". Tatyana Golikova paid special attention to the role of responsible businesses in creating new social norms. According to her, responsible business leaders help overcome the traditional conflict between family and career. "For a long time, family and career were opposed to each other, and a young woman at the beginning of her career was seen as an unreliable candidate. It is very important that the responsible business leaders are the ones who formulate a new norm, where you don't have to choose, but you can simply be a sought-after professional, an involved father and a promising employee," said the Deputy Prime Minister. In the year of the family, a corporate demographic standard was developed - recommendations to support employees with family responsibilities. At the federal level, one-time payments to employees upon the birth of a child in the amount of up to one million rubles are exempt from taxes and insurance premiums. Companies already apply this standard to one degree or another in 80 regions of the country. Alexander Shukin presented the results of the previous cycle and talked about the mechanics of the election in 2026. The evaluation of the participants, as in the past, will take place in three stages. Applications for participation in the award are accepted until December 10, 2026 on the digital award platform on the RSPP website. The results will be concluded at the RSPP Congress in March 2027. The annual National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business", established by the President, has been held since 2023. Large Russian companies that adhere to the principles of responsible business conduct and regularly issue non-financial reports that reveal comprehensive information about the organization's activities based on the principles of responsible business conduct can participate in it.
