Transportation and UAVs: on the way to technological leadership In a strategic meeting dedicated to technological leadership, Mikhail Mishustin spoke about the implementation of two national projects. Industrial support for transport mobility The national project provides support to factories and industries that develop and produce equipment in demand for the transportation of passengers and cargo. Main results and current tasks: This year, the second Arctic gas tanker, built at the Russian Zvezda Shipyard in the Primorsky Territory, entered the Northern Sea Route. In the past, such ships were built only abroad. Preparations are underway for the launch of the high-speed train service in Russia. Car bodies for three electric trains have been produced, a test infrastructure is being built and domestic components and technologies are being tested. Certification tests of aircraft from the updated range of models are underway, including the MC-21. The I-114 regional passenger plane and the PD-8 engine for the Superjet have already confirmed compliance with all the mandatory requirements and standards. Unmanned aircraft systems The volume of production of devices and components is increasing. During the first 9 months of the year, the number of components for UAS in the register of Russian industrial products increased by almost 80%. Mikhail Mishustin emphasized the need to bring the work to a practical implementation of the results achieved: I propose to analyze in detail in each of the fields the created chains of scientific and industrial cooperation, the applied management models and to determine a system of measures to preserve the accumulated momentum. We have enough potential and all the resources to fulfill the task set by the President to achieve technological leadership.
