As part of the national project "Technological Food Assurance", mechanisms are being created to implement modern scientific developments to improve farm efficiency. At the Timiryazev Genomic Center, research institutes, universities and specialized companies are jointly developing a digital platform for accelerated breeding of agricultural crops. The platform makes it possible to reduce the time required to develop new plant varieties and hybrids by 3 times and to respond more quickly to changes in market conditions or emerging challenges. The production of the entire list of food additives for the needs of animal husbandry in the regions, as well as various food components to improve the quality of food products, is expanding. Large production of amino acids, enzymes and starter cultures has already been established in Tatarstan, Belgorod, Voronezh, Moscow, Tula, Yaroslavl and other regions. We are making consistent progress in the main directions. First of all, we are talking about modernization and increasing production capacity, creating our own breakthrough technologies and actively controlling the production of a wide range of high-tech products, which we had no analogues in the past, which allows us to increase Russia's independence in critical areas, "Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
