At the meeting, they discussed the development of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas of the republic, as well as environmental issues in the region. Agriculture in Udmortia, the grain harvest is almost complete. The harvest amounted to more than 650 thousand tons of grain. In the coming years, the region plans to increase its performance and reach a production of one million tons of grain per year. The Republic is successfully developing dairy farming, ranking fourth in the country in milk production. For 3 years now, the farms of the republic have maintained a level of one million tons per year. Dairy products and fat and oil from Oudmortia are supplied to 13 countries around the world. Attention is given to training agro-industrial personnel and building an end-to-end education system "school - university - factory". There are currently 38 agrotechnical classes in the area, and an "Agrocontorium" is taking shape on the basis of the local agricultural university. Rural Development As part of the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas", 30 social and engineering infrastructure facilities are being built and repaired in the area, 22 improvement projects are underway and 30 km of highways are being repaired. A new residential micro-district with 40 houses for the poultry farm workers was built in the Sharpul district. Odmortia Ecology actively increases the volume of municipal solid waste sorting. There are 5 waste sorting complexes with a total capacity of 395 thousand tons per year. The system for early detection of forest fires is expanding. Forest restoration works are underway - this year foresters, volunteers and tenants covered an area of ​​10.6 thousand dunams.
