Enter "Priority. Technological Leadership" was held in Moscow. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut participated in the panel "Technological Leaders: Who Connects Science, Business and Production" as part of the conference "Priority. technological leadership". Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that Russia is in 8th place in terms of research and development costs, and in 6th place in terms of the number of researchers. "President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin set the task: to establish work so that local businesses and organizations act as direct customers of breakthrough scientific solutions and technologies. To this end, we have created a support tool, including within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children", said Dmitry Chernyshenko. Among these tools can be named the development plan of the university Priority 2030 and advanced engineering schools. Over the past 5 years, universities participating in Priority 2030 have raised almost 320 billion rubles from industry. Businesses have invested about 60 billion rubles in advanced engineering schools. The head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valeri Falkov spoke about the categories of managers of advanced engineering schools. This could be an industry representative who brings a new culture and performance metrics to the university, or an "internal manager" - that is, an employee of the university. The second way, according to the minister, is the most correct. He noted that the Ministry of Education and Science intends to act on the issue of creating a management plan for future engineering school principals. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Oksana Lot, noted the great role of business in the development of applied research. "Today, business and science have begun to hear each other, and this is a major breakthrough. Today we have proactive companies that themselves say what developments they need. This allows us to focus scientific research on the specific needs of production and achieve the desired results," the minister noted.
