Cherpovets is preparing for winter. Shia Auto Trans employees moved sand to boxes today. Such boxes are located near stations and pedestrian crossings in order to add the ice formed in time. In total, Cherpovets has about 200 such boxes. They began to be installed last year; Before that they just poured the sand and salt mixture in an inconspicuous pile. The boxes look more aesthetic and do not spoil the view. According to the foreman of Shia Auto Trans, Zachar Nazimov, this coming winter more than 230 people will be working on the streets of the city in addition to special equipment. The sidewalks will be worked by tractors with trailers. The Moscow equipment donated to the city is ready and will be used in the winter as well. There are only small loaders and mini tractors. The Shia Auto Trans base has already stored 30 thousand tons of sand and salt mixture. For delicate spaces, like Sovetsky Prospect, we bought special salt. Roads will be sprayed with chlorides and swept by combined vehicles. A total of 96 units of special equipment were prepared, including dump trucks, loaders and graders.
