Energofact Shipping is one of the hardest industries to decarbonize. New ships powered by hydrogen, ammonia or methanol cost tens of millions of dollars and require new infrastructure that does not yet exist. Refurbishment solutions make it possible to reduce emissions from the existing fleet, which is tens of thousands of ships worldwide, without waiting for the construction of new ships and the creation of a fueling network. The system received the RINA (Italian Navy Registry, Italian Classification Society) approval and the Hydrogen Innovation Award. The company already has contracts for 12 ships.
