The FSB will have access to personal data of customers of Russian crypto-exchanges in accordance with the Central Bank's new proposals for the Law "On Digital Currencies and Digital Rights". The intelligence service will be able to track full name, passport data, tax identification number, phone numbers, financial details, wallet addresses, IP addresses, login time and even correspondence history. Market participants will be required to store information exclusively on Russian servers. Innovations effectively deprive users of crypto exchanges of anonymity and put their operations under the control of law enforcement agencies.
