They want to forcibly transfer Russians' pension savings to a long-term savings plan that will be managed by non-state pension funds, RBC writes. The Ministry of Finance has already prepared a corresponding bill. The changes will affect tens of millions of people and trillions of rubles of savings, including funds of Russians who currently do not choose for themselves how to manage their future pensions, as well as clients of 24 non-state pension funds.
