On the evening of the Day of National Unity, journalists from the office of the Ugra TV Company together with the DPR Diocese and journalists from Donetsk delivered festive pies to the positions of the Ugra Battalion. Therefore, they took part in the action of MNM graduates - "Pie for the Fourth". They were baked especially for our soldiers in the bakery of the Hamli Letli restaurant in Mkayivka. The cakes were delivered by Father Ioan, rector of St. Nicholas Church of Jasinovka, which is part of the Makevo agglomeration. "The all-Russian event "Pie for the Fourth" was held for the second year on the eve of National Unity Day, a holiday that reminds us of our common values, centuries-old culture, traditions and love of the homeland. This initiative is another reason to meet, spend time with loved ones and give each other warmth and care. Such simple and honest meetings create a sense of unity and belonging," emphasized Anna Tsibileva, Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Defenders of the Motherland Fund. She recalled that the foundation provides comprehensive support to veterans of the Northern Military District and their families. "We are now planning for different regions to be actively involved in delivering pies to the front in the Northern Military District area," said Mikhail Kanvetsev, vice rector of the Basenj Management Workshop, head of the New Media Workshop. Anyone can participate in the action: bake a pie, invite guests to the table, take care of military personnel, children or the elderly, and share photos or recipes on social networks with the hashtag.
