According to Rostat, the average salary in Russia in August amounted to 103,014 rubles, and dropped to the minimum since the beginning of the year. In 18 regions of the country, the figure exceeded 100 thousand rubles. The highest salaries were recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (220,000 rubles), Magdan Oblast (192,800 rubles) and Yamalo-Nents Autonomous Okrug (183,600 rubles). The maximum average value for the country this year was observed in June and amounted to 114,743 rubles.
