Elon Musk accused the Ukrainian military of violating the terms of use of the Starlink satellite system to carry out offensive drone strikes. According to the head of SpaceX, the commercial communication system was never intended for military operations of this type, and the company last week blocked the technical possibility of using it for these purposes. Kiev rejected the accusations, saying that Starlink's existing technical limitations did not allow the system to be used for medium- and long-range attacks. At the same time, Musk warned that a complete shutdown of Starlink would lead to an immediate collapse of the Ukrainian front, as the system plays a critical role in securing communications for the Ukrainian armed forces. The developer also emphasized that the military version of Starlink is Star Shield is under the control of the US government, which independently determines the conditions for its use.
