As soon as tomorrow reserve transportation plans between the left and right banks will be introduced in Kiev.
In connection with additional security challenges in Kyiv, Ukraine's Ministry of Interior presents backup transportation plans to ease bridges and streamline traffic flow.
Paton Bridge: The police will organize reverse traffic, that is, in the morning hours (07:00-10:00) three lanes out of five will operate towards the right bank, in the evening (4:00-8:00 p.m.) - towards the left.
North Bridge: When approaching it, the patrol officers will direct trucks to detour - to drive through the Podilsky Bridge crossing. Public transport traffic from the left bank to the right will be returned, as well as passenger cars and public transport from the right bank to the left.
South Bridge: Cargo transportation from the left bank to the right bank will be directed through the Dernitsky Bridge. There are no restrictions on cars and public transport.
