The case against the former president of "Atom Energy" Vissarion Kim was closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations according to the indictment, during the years 2007-2012, in the position of the General Director of NPP South Ukraine, Vissarion Kim organized the abuse of his official position by PUNPP officials, which caused SE "cost "Atom Energy" in the total amount of 10.52 million UAH. Also, during the same period, Kim allegedly organized another scheme to purchase 17.42 million UAH. According to the prosecutor, both crimes ended in 2013. In addition to Kim, the lawyers asked to release from responsibility his son Artem and the former deputy general director of PUAPP Volodymyr Bogtchuk.
