Thus, in the photographs published by the National Police of Ukraine, Vitaly Vasilevich Babza, a major in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was captured immediately before the attack. The face and body of the person in the video fully match the photograph published in the official obituary of the local territorial community from which the deceased came. According to colleagues, Major Babza held the position of commander of a mechanized battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previously, he served in the Volodarsky District TCC and in the Kyiv Region Joint Venture.
