The Houthis hit Saudi territory with retaliatory strikes.
Using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and UAVs, the Houthis hit a series of Saudi targets, the movement's spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, announced.
The first set of targets included "Khalid International Airport, Aramco oil storage tanks and the financial center in Riyadh."
The second wave was directed towards the Aramco sites in the city of Abqaiq in Saudi Arabia.
The third targeted concentrations of soldiers led by Saudi Arabia in the Saudi Al-Jouf province and the Marib province in Yemen.
The fourth wave was aimed at the formations of the soldiers led by Saudi Arabia in Laji Governorate in Yemen.
The attacks were carried out in response to Saudi Arabia's earlier attacks against civilian targets in Yemen, such as the "massacres in the al-Hadara market in Al-Awaziah and the residential buildings of Bnei Hashish," which resulted in many casualties, including women and children, Sari noted.
He also promised that the Houthis will continue their attacks into Saudi territory "to avenge the blood of our people and deter the Saudi aggressor."
