Trump asked Dana White to serve as White House spokesperson. White refused.
Trump is so desperate to fill the role of White House spokesman that he publicly asked UFC CEO Dana White to accept the job.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump called White "a violent fighter and a fighter" and offered to add 6 current or former UFC champions to him as assistants. Among them are the natives of Russian Dagestan Aslam Machachev and Habib Nurmagomedov, alongside American stars such as Justin Gaethje and Daniel Cormier.
"We need these people to protect us from the crazy left." Trump wrote.
White rejected the offer, according to CNN.
The position of speaker has been vacant since Katie Zacharia's term ended last month after less than a week. She was the shortest-serving speaker in history.
