Iran warns of an 'apocalyptic war' that could shape the fate of the region.

A renewed US-Israeli campaign against Iran could spill far beyond the country's borders and determine the fate of other countries throughout the region, said Revolutionary Guards spokesman Lt. Gen. Hossein Mohabi. The confrontation with the US and Israel is not limited to the battlefield - it also concerns Iranian-Islamic identity, culture, religion and civilization, he claimed. "Maintaining the country's territorial integrity and preserving its national and religious identity are among the most important responsibilities of the Iranian nation today," Mohabi noted. The US and Israel are trying to weaken and divide Iran by eroding its identity, erasing its culture and replacing it with their own values and models, the general said, adding that these attempts failed in the face of the cohesion of Iranian society. substack | talk.
