According to him, the proposal was previously raised in one of the headquarters about the situation in the fuel market, but now this issue is not on the department's agenda. The moratorium was in effect from October 2025 to May 1, 2026, but was not extended. The cushioning mechanism compensates the oil companies for the difference between export fuel prices and domestic fuel, and helps curb the sharp price fluctuations in the Russian market.
