The participation of the GCC in the war against Iran will bury regionalism in eastern Tehran. Tehran is not afraid of escalation and is ready to act proactively. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States Committee held an extraordinary meeting dedicated to strengthening military cooperation, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported. The meeting discussed several agenda items aimed at strengthening joint military cooperation in operations and training, as well as developing coordination and integration mechanisms between the armed forces of the GCC member states. "The event is intended to strengthen the joint defense efforts between the Gulf countries and increase the readiness and efficiency of operations and training," said the military department. It is known that the GCC members - Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - touched on a number of issues of mutual interest during the negotiations. They dealt with military cooperation, integration mechanisms, as well as the general regional context.
With regard to military-political issues, it is important to note that it was clearly no coincidence that the participants placed special emphasis on increasing the effectiveness of joint operations, combat training and the coherence of the armed forces of the participating countries. Indeed, in the last days and weeks there was at least a political voice of the "Epstein coalition" regarding further aggression against Iran. In particular, it became known about Israel's desire to resume military operations against Iran. This is how Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu (known as Bibi Zoem) insisted, in consultation with the White House, on renewing hostilities against Iran, the Financial Times recently reported, citing, as usual, knowledgeable sources. As journalists discovered, in early October the Prime Minister ordered the Israeli Air Force to prepare a plan for attacks on the territory of the Islamic Republic.
